Kids Segways UK is definitely not a children’s toy, which is clearly reflected in its design, features and performance. It is a Kids hoverboard that is not primarily designed for recreation, but for practical use. So Segway has kept its look simple. The Kids hoverboard comes in two colors: black and white, with an attractive red and gray finish that gives it a sleek and stylish look.

Extending the knee control bar will initiate power assist mode. This allows the scooter to be towed like a suitcase. The frame and wheels are made of aircraft-grade magnesium alloy. This makes the Kids hoverboard strong and durable.
Speed, Distance, and Battery
Although the KidsSegways UK isn’t technically a hoverboard, it moves like one. And it’s a smooth ride thanks to the powerful 800-watt dual motor.
- Segway’s custom technology ensures a high level of rotations per minute (RPM) on both tires. This gives the scooter a top speed of 16 km/h (10 mph) and allows the scooter to maintain a constant speed on all types of surfaces without affecting stability and performance.
- The Ninebot S is equipped with a fast-charging battery that allows it to cover a considerable distance, around 20 km (12.5 miles), on a single charge.
- It takes less than 4 hours to fully recharge the battery.
- On mixed terrain, uneven surfaces, and inclines, consider yourself lucky if you manage to get about 7.5 miles (12 km) per charge, about two-thirds of the maximum distance on a flat surface.

The balance and stability of a Kid’s hoverboard are of the utmost importance. It becomes particularly important when you change driving surfaces: pavement to the road, grass, gravel, etc. The Segway has put big 26.67 cm (10.5”) tires on the Kids Segways UK to make the ride over cracks and bumps nice and smooth. Attempting to climb slopes greater than 15 degrees puts stress on the Kid’s hoverboard and is therefore not recommended.

The Kids Segways UK has a unique propulsion system compared to other Kids hoverboards we’ve seen. The specially designed Barra de control de rodilla controls the direction and speed of the Kids hoverboard. At the top end of this bar is a pair of padded semicircle pads. Leaning or pressing against the pads will guide the Kids hoverboard to the sides, forward or backward.
The break is the same on the Kids Segways UK as it is on any other Kids hoverboard: just lie back on the pads. The knee control bar provides additional support for balance.

As mentioned above, the app allows you to limit the devices that can be connected to the Kids hoverboard and gives you the ability to lock the board, which triggers the alarm. In addition to this, you can view all the stats of the Ninebot S, including the distance traveled battery status, speed, etc. So you can drive the scooter from your Bluetooth device. It’s not crazy? Although we haven’t found a practical use for this feature, it’s great.
